Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner
by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.
 Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to
the position.
 Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
 Attendance/punctuality: is consistently at work and on time.
 Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
 Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair faulty or damaged tooling.
 Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data of parts to determine tool specifications and tolerances.
 Keep presses operational.
 Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
 Restore damaged surfaces and re-machines to specifications.
 Reassemble, test, and adjust tooling.
 Perform slide changes.
 Check water flow on higher volume tooling.
 Knowledgeable in the areas of mold and tool making.

 Perform other repairs, corrections, and engineering changes to molds as requested by Production
Tooling Manager.
 Teach and guide apprentices through all facets of mold making.

Education and/or Experience:
Four to ten years related experience and/or training with Journeyman or Master craftsman certification; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to learn new software as needed.
